About Daughters of Haiti
Daughters of Haiti is a Chicago-founded nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Haitian women and girls through cultural celebration, leadership development, education, and wellness.
Celebrating Our Roots
Our roots stretch across oceans and generations. They live in language, ritual, music, food, and the stories passed from mothers to daughters. We honor Haiti not only as a place, but as a living inheritance carried forward by women of the diaspora.

Empowering Haitian Women Through Culture and Leadership
Daughters of Haiti is a nonprofit organization led by first- and second-generation Haitian women, dedicated to education, wellness, leadership, and community connection across the diaspora.
We are a vibrant community of Haitian women dedicated to preserving and celebrating our rich cultural heritage. We serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, ideas, and experiences, fostering connections across generations.
Our mission is to empower and uplift women within the Haitian community by honoring our roots, nurturing cultural pride, and inspiring future generations to embrace and celebrate our diverse and amazing culture.

4TH ANNUAL LE BAL BLEU ET ROUGE GALA
Le Bal Bleu et Rouge is Daughters of Haiti’s signature annual gala, bringing together community leaders, supporters, and partners for an evening that celebrates Haitian culture, honors women’s leadership, and supports programs that uplift our community. Rooted in tradition and forward-looking in purpose, the gala is both a celebration and a call to invest in the collective work of empowering Haitian women across generations.
